Wordplay Book Covers

Concept book covers for a fictional World War II story.

Three words were chosen at random to be used as a title for a book cover. The story takes place during WWII and follows two characters who befriend each other serving in the U.S. army. They then follow each other back home to New York City.

Both book covers took inspiration from World War II U.S. military campaigns and paraphernalia. What is featured on the cover each book are key elements that would appear in the story pertaining to the main characters. An illustrative and a photographic cover were designed for variation.
